This is the beginning of the history of my grandfather, Harry E Maule's career and frienship with this great artist, Charles M Russell. ANd my subsequent or inherited love of books, and dismay that I did not acquire half of the intelligence in my dna.
ian W. Dippie is a professor of history at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and the author of Catlin and His Contemporaries: The Politics of Patronage (Nebraska 1990).

The other author most famous was Sinclair Lewis which he edited for while he was published by Random House in NY. The Man From MAin Street most recognized, as well as others. He collected letters from the war, and published War Letters.
My great Aunt was named FLorence Updergraff, she wrote mainly about women and the suffrogette movement, and penned a novel called BLue Dowry.
Another book was titled How to Get your Next Job, how fitting for me today, though this was written in the 1930's in NY.
